What this notice covers

This notice explains how CloudBuddy Solutions LLC handles information for referral accounts and the CloudBuddy referral program. It covers referrers and the business contacts they introduce. It does not replace a separate customer service agreement or privacy notice for other CloudBuddy products.

Information we collect

We collect your name, email address and phone number; the referred company's name; the business contact's name, work email and role; and the business need, buying intent, timing and permission confirmations you provide. We also retain your referral submission, review decision, and agreement record, including the accepted terms and privacy-notice versions, acceptance wording, verified account identity and server timestamp.

Amazon Cognito provides email-code sign-in. It keeps the account identifier, email verification information and the technical records needed to operate and protect sign-in. We do not ask you to choose a password in this flow. Account tokens are kept in the open page's memory; refreshing or reopening the page requires sign-in again. Essential authentication and security processing is separate from any optional website analytics.

Provide information only with the business contact's permission and only as needed for the introduction. Do not submit passwords, bank details, tax identification numbers, regulated personal information, customer datasets or confidential documents through referral fields.

How we use information

We use it to authenticate your account, evaluate and contact referrals, check duplicate submissions and eligibility, document agreements and decisions, administer referral fees, respond to questions, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. We do not use referral-form information to train AI models. Submitting a referral does not subscribe either person to a marketing mailing list.

Who receives information

Authorized CloudBuddy personnel may access referrals to administer the program. We use Amazon Web Services for authentication, email-code delivery, hosting and storage. We may share necessary information with payment or tax service providers when arranging a payout, professional advisers, or authorities where required by law. We may also disclose information where necessary to investigate fraud, protect legal rights or complete a business transfer subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

We do not sell referral contact information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Your account exposes your own referral records; it does not expose other referrers' submissions. A business contact may learn who introduced them when we follow up.

Storage and retention

The production referral service uses AWS infrastructure in the United States. Access is restricted to the account holder and authorized operators. We use encrypted connections, access-controlled storage and recovery protections. No system can guarantee absolute security.

We keep account and referral information while needed to review and administer referrals, honor existing payment rights, resolve disputes and meet legal recordkeeping obligations. We review deletion requests individually and may retain the minimum agreement, payment, fraud-prevention or legal records still needed. Restricted backup copies may remain until their normal backup retention expires. We do not promise immediate deletion of records we must preserve.

When you use a localhost development preview, referral records remain in local development storage, separate from the production referral database. Email-code sign-in still uses the dedicated Cognito service. Use fictional business details for local testing.

Your choices and requests

You can view your submissions and recorded decisions in your referral account. To request access, correction, account closure or deletion, email info@cloudbuddyapps.com with "Referral privacy" in the subject. Business contacts may use the same address even if they do not have an account. We may verify identity or authority before acting and will explain any information we need to retain. Do not email bank details, tax identification numbers or identity documents unless we first arrange an appropriate secure method.

If you withdraw an introduction or learn that the contact's permission has changed, notify us promptly. Privacy and data-protection rights vary by location; this notice does not limit rights available under applicable law.

Updates and contact

We will post updates here with a revised date. An updated notice does not rewrite the agreement record retained for an earlier referral. We will provide additional notice or seek consent when required by applicable law.
